Release Notes

SharePoint 2010 sandbox solutions that adapt the Enterprise/Fast/Basic Search Centers to work with master pages other than minimal.master. There are two different solutions:
  • Search.StandardMasterPageAdapter.wsp - contains a site collection feature that allows the Enterprise/Fast Search Centers to work with V4.master and a web scoped feature that allows a Basic Search Center to work with V4.master.
  • Search.CustomMasterPageAdapter.wsp - contains a site collection feature that allows the Enterprise/Fast Search Centers to work with a custom master page.

I have install, deployed and activated the feature of Search.CustomeMasterPageAdapter.wsp. However, It is giving me error message when I click my search center. Once I deactivate the feature, my sites continues to work again. Do I need to do anything with the PageLayoutFixup.cs. What should I do with this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

We have a dynamic masterpage switch system, so we coun't use the Randy Drisgill solution. Butt this Custom masterPage package was the perfect solution for use! Thx!

Thanks, this does exactly what it says on the box. If you need the Basic/enterprise search center to work with your custom master page, look no further.
